My India Journey

My Journey to Rishikesh, India.

At 34 years old, after over a decade of working as a Marketing Director and consultant, I traveled to India to become a yoga teacher.

In 2022, I felt a calling. So I followed that call to Rishikesh. It was the best decision I ever made.

I studied for my Hatha-Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training (YTT 200) in November 2022 at Pratham Yoga School in Rishikesh, India, where I spent a month in the yoga capital of the world. I was joined by 13 other students from all over the world, that soon became beautiful lifelong connections. We trained under some of the best teachers, some of whom have been living a yogic lifestyle since childhood. This incredible and intense experience brought my passion and understanding of yoga philosophy to another level, and my goal since then has been to help others find and bring together the connection between body and mind.

Immediately after completing my YTT 200 program, I stayed at Pratham Yoga in Rishikesh to study and get certified in Prenatal Yoga (50Hrs), where I not only learned how to cater my yoga classes for pregnant students, but also about the amazing power of women's bodies.

I went back to Rishikesh just
one year later.

I decided to advance my studies and complete my 300 Hour YTT with

Gyan Yog Breath yoga school.

Once I found out they offered an 8-day Fertility Yoga Course, I instinctively knew was the next step in my journey.

 In November 2023, I enrolled in Gyan's

300-Hour Hatha YTT. The experience surpassed my expectations, and I deepened my yoga knowledge and teaching experience in those weeks in Rishikesh. I expanded my yoga teaching to include chair yoga, yoga for seniors, yoga for diabetes, and yoga for children. I also participated in a unique Emotional Blockage Release program with our meditation teacher Bipin, who taught us how to physically release repressed emotions that are trapped in specific points around the body, using an ancient form of Ayurvedic acupressure and marma points.

Shortly after completing my 500 Hours in Hatha Yoga, I started my 100-Hour Fertility Yoga YTT at Gyan, which gave me incredible knowledge about natural fertility and the tools I need to guide others on their fertility journey.

I use a combination of guided asana, pranayama, meditation, and Ayurvedic nutrition which helps to create the ideal physical and mental environment for hosting a baby. My knowledge in Natural Fertility allows me to guide you on your unique journey even from before conception, when you are still planning for your pregnancy, and support and guide you during pregnancy with Prenatal Yoga, pranayama (breath-work) and meditation techniques to prepare you for labor.

My program also helps women and couples who struggle with failed IVF / ICSI treatments, multiple miscarriages, PCOS, and Endometriosis.
